Mississauga is a burgeoning city just next-door to Toronto. Its history as a bedroom community for Canada's largest city has been shed as immigrants and suburbanites settle there.

However, as planning goes, Mississauga is much like Las Vegas: too big for the pedestrian, too small for the driver.

This project looks at the redevelopment of Mississauga Valley Park. As we re-imagined this space, hyper density becomes key as we created a strong downtown core within the larger city. However, within this core the density decreases as one gets closer to the river, creating a new valley and an active draw for activity.

This project was exhibited in The Mississauga Civic Centre Great Hall in 2007.
